Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onions and cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
Add ground beef and Italian sausage, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until mostly browned, about 5 minutes.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, parsley, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Add pasta, stir, and cover. Cook for 10 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
Remove from heat and stir in ricotta until fully combined.
Ladle into bowls and serve warm.
