2tablespoonsolive oilor avocado oil
½teaspoonsea salt
½teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes. *If your unit doesn't have a preheat setting, turn it on a couple of minutes before adding the food.
In a large bowl, toss the 2 cups cubed sweet potato with 2 tablespoons olive oil, ½ teaspoon sea salt, and ½ teaspoon black pepper until they are evenly coated.
Arrange the coated sweet potatoes in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Depending on the size of your fryer, you may need to cook in batches.
Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket to toss the potatoes after 7 minutes. This helps them cook evenly.
Before removing the sweet potatoes, check them for doneness. They should be tender inside and crisp outside.
Notes
Don't overload the basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook this dish in batches. To ensure even cooking, cut the potatoes into cubes that are as similar in size as possible.
