Paleo Sweet Potato Chocolate Mousse

A simple dessert made with only clean ingredients - and full of secret veggies for your picky eaters!

  • 2 cups sweet potato cooked & cooled
  • 1 banana
  • 6-8 dates
  • 3/4 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 8 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate arils about 1/2 pomegranate
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes


  1. Add first 6 ingredients to a blender or food processor, then secure the lid on top.

  2. Blend on a medium high speed, scraping the sides as needed, until smooth and creamy. Add extra coconut milk, 1 tsp at a time, if needed for consistency.

  3. Cover and chill the mousse in the refrigerator. 

  4. Divide the mixture evenly between 4 cups.

  5. Top each with coconut flakes and pomegranate.
