Whole30 Fast & Easy Cookbook – Feature

I’m beyond honored to be a featured recipe contributor in the brand new Whole30 Fast & Easy Cookbook!

You’ll find TWO of my recipes inside the cookbook: Whole30 Fennel & Sausage Soup, and Zucchini Wrapped Cod.

You know I love healthy cookbooks (I have a HUGE collection!), so it’s so cool to have a cookbook with MY FACE inside. Wow.

Would you like to get your hands on a copy of the Whole30 Fast & Easy Cookbook?? You can buy it on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and most major retailers!

I did my very first round of Whole30 back in 2014. At that time, there were no Whole30 compliant convenience items available at grocery stores. You’d have to order these very expensive items online, if you could even find them.

This is one of my recipes, beautifully prepared and photographed and inside an actual, real-life cookbook! A NYT best seller, no less! Wow.

The Whole30 Approved program was still pretty new! Everything was homemade. EVERYTHING. Ketchup, mayo, salad dressings, bbq sauce (no more!).

Every single meal, side, snack, condiment, and drink was home cooked for all 30 days.

I woke up an hour early every day to make roasted vegetables and poached eggs for breakfast with homemade ranch dressing.

I put other things on hold – my sleep, personal activities, relationships, and more… to cook. It worked out okay, but you know what? It’s not real life.

I 100% recommend the Fast & Easy cookbook, and all the Whole30 books, of course! The biggest game changers for me? Food Freedom Forever, and Whole30 Day by Day.

Simple Recipes

Over time, I learned to simplify my Whole30 cooking, making it fit within my life, instead of the other way around.

It’s been a freeing experience, to learn that simple meals can be totally satisfying, nourishing, and absolutely delicious.

That’s why I was so thrilled to be asked to contribute to The Whole30 Fast and Easy Cookbook. Easy meals are kind of my thing nowadays (just check out my 20 minute meals section!).

I was able to submit two recipes, my Whole30 Zucchini Wrapped Cod, and my Sausage and Fennel Soup. I figured one summer-ish, one winter-ish.

I Write a LOT of Whole30 Recipes

So yes, I love Whole30 and totally credit the program with helping me to finally break my stress eating habits and get to the bottom of my inflammation issues.

If you’ve scrolled through my recipes at all, you may have noticed that many of them are Whole30 compliant. We don’t eat that way 100% of the time, but we definitely feel our best when we eat that way.

Head to Whole30.com to learn more about it (since everybody’s talking about it anyway!). You might get to find out once and for all how different food groups are affecting your body, then have the ability to make more educated decisions about what you eat.

You also examine your relationship with food during that time, gaining a deeper understanding of your cravings and how you may rely on foods emotionally. Oh, and be sure to buy the cookbook!

Is this real life? It ME!
